The hotel location is excellent, only 4-5 minutes' walk to the train station Nice Ville and 12-13 minutes' walk to the English Promenade and Hotel Negresco, one of the Nice landmarks. The vicinity of the train station is very important if you want to go on day trips to Cannes, Antibes, Monaco, Menton and other places along the Côte d'Azur. The trains most often go every 15 minutes, they are on time and, during the winter season, very rarely crowded. It's far more convenient to ride by train than to rent a car because few hotels of this type in Nice have their own parking; they usually refer you to one of the public garages nearby, which charge around EUR 25 a day for a car place. In Nice, there is also a good network of buses and trams. The nearest bus station is only 2 minutes' walk from the hotel and the tram station is app. 7 minutes' walk. The hotel neighbourhood is quite nice and decent, despite the closeness of the station. Actually, we didn't notice any dodgy activities around the train station either and the building itself is quite beautiful. We were given a nice, stylish room of a decent size on the 3rd floor (there is an elevator), overlooking the street. It even had a small balcony, although we didn't book a room with one, which was a nice surprise. The room was cosy, clean and well maintained. The matresses were more on the softer side, but comfortable to sleep on. There was a daily cleaning of the room. The heating was so good that we had to turn off the heater in our room from time to time (and it was rather cold these days in Nice). We had a kettle, a fridge and a safety deposit box in our room. There was some noise from the street, especially during the day, whereas at night it was calm enough for uninterrupted sleep. If you're sensitive to noise, you can use ear plugs which the hotel provides or, even better, ask for a room overlooking the inner yard.

What a lovely hotel! First, the walk from the train station was 4 mins, how amazing! The hotel is clean and chic, the decor is amazing! The rooms are comfortable and well designed, with a tremendously cool balcony view! We got a bunch of free goodies like lemonade, a hair brush, and a water bottle- what a cool touch! The staff were fabulous , they recommended us a restaurant for our first night which turned out to have the very best Niciose dishes we’ve ever had! Speaking of food- the breakfast buffet was delicious every morning! Oh and what a cool touch to make coffee, tea, and water available to guests all day long, and with the option of snacks at different times of the day too! Loved this hotel- will return!

Location is good especially for Nice Ville station and the bus and tram system (which is excellent). The hotel Theme is great and well carried out. The staff at the Hotel are amongst the best I have ever encountered anywhere in the world, they are kind, helpful and nothing was to much trouble. We had one piece of luggage lost by the airline and their help with this was crucial in it's recovery. There are some areas which could do with some TLC , but this is being a bit picky. The room size was good, the bathroom was excellent. Can't comment on the Breakfast as we always prefer to experiment around town. But the outstanding feature are the staff, thanks so much to you all. Had a lovely stay with wonderful staff and would certainly recommend this place. Arrived at check-in to be given free room upgrade and found complementary chocolate, drinks, paper fan, and beach towel upon arrival. The reception provided free water, tea, and coffee all day, as well as snacks later in the day which was a nice addition. I was able to leave my bag on the last day after checkout to explore the town. Location was great and felt safe as a solo traveller - right next to the Nice-Ville station and 20 minute walk from the beach. The room was spacious and nicely decorated with a few antique touches, and the bathroom was clean as well.
