The hotel location is excellent, only 4-5 minutes' walk to the train station Nice Ville and 12-13 minutes' walk to the English Promenade and Hotel Negresco, one of the Nice landmarks. The vicinity of the train station is very important if you want to go on day trips to Cannes, Antibes, Monaco, Menton and other places along the Côte d'Azur. The trains most often go every 15 minutes, they are on time and, during the winter season, very rarely crowded. It's far more convenient to ride by train than to rent a car because few hotels of this type in Nice have their own parking; they usually refer you to one of the public garages nearby, which charge around EUR 25 a day for a car place. In Nice, there is also a good network of buses and trams. The nearest bus station is only 2 minutes' walk from the hotel and the tram station is app. 7 minutes' walk. The hotel neighbourhood is quite nice and decent, despite the closeness of the station. Actually, we didn't notice any dodgy activities around the train station either and the building itself is quite beautiful. We were given a nice, stylish room of a decent size on the 3rd floor (there is an elevator), overlooking the street. It even had a small balcony, although we didn't book a room with one, which was a nice surprise. The room was cosy, clean and well maintained. The matresses were more on the softer side, but comfortable to sleep on. There was a daily cleaning of the room. The heating was so good that we had to turn off the heater in our room from time to time (and it was rather cold these days in Nice). We had a kettle, a fridge and a safety deposit box in our room. There was some noise from the street, especially during the day, whereas at night it was calm enough for uninterrupted sleep. If you're sensitive to noise, you can use ear plugs which the hotel provides or, even better, ask for a room overlooking the inner yard.

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Otero! It was an easy 5 minute walk from the train station, great location where you can walk every where ( 15 minutes to the beach) or take a short Uber ride to any point of interest in the city. The staff were very friendly and authentically welcoming. I appreciated that breakfast is included! The variety of breakfast items spanned from light fare (fruit, yogurt etc) to hearty options like cheese, sausage, scrambled eggs. They have a great coffee machine that can be used any time of the day which you can customize your coffee ranging from espresso, cappucino, long coffee, and prepare it exactly how you like it! The bed was comfortable and room clean and quiet. There was also an elevator ! Some buildings in the area don't have them! For a reasonable price you get everything you need to start and end the day! I would stay there again!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Celuv! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the accommodation was spotless. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary upgrade to a larger room that accommodated three people instead of just two, making it very spacious and comfortable. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The hotel also offered complimentary coffee and tea throughout the day, and we could use the coffee machine and sparkling or still water dispenser at any time, which was a lovely touch. One unique amenity was the availability of earplugs, which we quickly realized were useful because the walls were a bit thin and we could hear some noise from the hallway. The only minor downside was that the pillows were a bit too firm for our liking, but overall, we had a comfortable night’s sleep. We would definitely recommend this hotel!

Really pleased with the entire experience.Had a room on the 4th floor with extra large bed and lovely balcony ,slept extremely well ,bed was just to my liking, firm ,bathroom was good but shower cubicle on the small size .Coffee & cold ,sparkling ,still water available to bring to your room ,pastries too ,we never eat breakfast in hotels but lots of options close by ,a few doors away is beautiful clean Mediterranean restaurant where we enjoyed an English (type) breakfast.Location was perfect,a short walk to Nice La Garre station to explore the likes of Monaco & Cannes ,a short walk further to the tram stop which brings you to the main squares and the Old Town & Pier ,friendly staff told us how to purchase the tickets and answered any questions we had

Location is good especially for Nice Ville station and the bus and tram system (which is excellent). The hotel Theme is great and well carried out. The staff at the Hotel are amongst the best I have ever encountered anywhere in the world, they are kind, helpful and nothing was to much trouble. We had one piece of luggage lost by the airline and their help with this was crucial in it's recovery. There are some areas which could do with some TLC , but this is being a bit picky. The room size was good, the bathroom was excellent. Can't comment on the Breakfast as we always prefer to experiment around town. But the outstanding feature are the staff, thanks so much to you all.
